The appearance of the Demon Lords has brought despair into the armies of Aslan. Never before have the demonic forces been so organized… so deadly. But deep within the research labs of Boris Nethelis a new weapon of war was being feverishly developed.
Boris was fascinated by the powers of the Angelic forces that had arrived to support the army of light. Closely observing them he began to think of a way to harness this power so it could be used by humans. As word of the Demon Lords approach becoming more apparent he discovered it.
A suit, made of the strongest metals, was forged with the assistance of the angel Sephiria as she imbued each piece with Holy Energy. As the final piece was attached to the suit Raphael was born. But now this suit needed a pilot. Despite his claims that this would bring an end to the war none were brave enough to go near the holy weapon. But one day an opportunity arose.
An injured Rose Knight was brought to the labs by Captain Elya. Delphine, a dedicated soldier who was like a sister to Elya, had fought numerous battles by her side. It was during this last engagement that Delphine had received a mortal wound from a demon. Blinded by the wound and in her last moments Elya made the decision to bring her to Boris. She had heard of his machine which was an embodiment of an angel. And the holy powers it contained. Her hope was that this machine would be the last thing that could save her sister. As her sister was placed into the machine and a spell spoken over her by Sephiria the machine came to life.
Upon seeing the machine begin to work and her sister no longer in pain Elya turned to Boris only to be met with a stern face. It was then that Elya discovered that her sister was now the heart of Raphael, sentenced to spend the rest of her life encased in the armor. But she would live on, able to fight by her sister’s side and be a savior to humanity.
Still having a will of her own Delphine now serves as a Commander on the battlefield. Serving to try and stop the demon tide, but also to earn the respect of the sister who gave her new life.
