Shield Guard

Upon seeing the mighty visage of Veronique’s golem, some of the veteran soldiers were inspired to be the shields of their own troops. Donning ornate shield and powerful lances they established a new order dubbed the Guardians of Aslan.
They train endlessly each day so they can be the shield needed when the moment is critical. Having long ago abandoned their fear of death they now protect the savior at all times, especially those times when she can not summon a Golem.
Veronique has accepted them and has befriended all of the guardians. It is this bond that makes them the fiercest force of them all.
